Bizdiver is the assistant built into the app. It reads your books, answers questions with real data, and proposes actions. The key word is proposes: it never changes anything without your explicit confirmation.
Open it
Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K), or click the mascot button in the bottom-right corner. The assistant docks as a panel at the bottom of the screen; drag its top edge to resize.
What to ask
Anything about your books: what's blocking the close, which invoices are waiting on approval, which vendors are missing a W-9, what AP aging looks like, whether the trial balance is balanced. The assistant runs read queries against your live data (invoices, payments, vendors, journal entries, reconciliation, fiscal periods, cash forecast, and more) and shows you the actual records it looked at, not just a summary.
Actions are proposals. You hold the pen
When the assistant wants to do something (approve an invoice, close a period, create a task, schedule a payment, request a W-9), it presents a proposal card describing exactly what will happen, with two buttons: Confirm and Reject. Nothing executes until you click Confirm, and every resolution is recorded. The control philosophy that runs through the rest of Bizdivers applies to the AI too: suggestions are automated, decisions are yours.
Where it shines
During close. The cockpit's Ask the assistant button starts the conversation with your current period's blockers, and Bizdiver walks you through clearing them. Want your team to see a useful thread? Toggle Share on the conversation to make it visible to the company instead of private.
