The audit trail: who did what, and when

Every sign-in, settings change, approval, and posting is recorded with who, when, and a before/after diff.

Every meaningful action in Bizdivers is recorded: sign-ins, settings changes, invoice approvals, payments, journal entry activity, banking. Not as a marketing line. As a page you can open.

The Audit Log

Go to Accounting → Audit Log. Each row shows the timestamp, the action, the entity it touched, who did it, the reason, and the IP address. Failed actions are tinted red, and security-relevant ones are badged so they stand out.

Filter and inspect

  1. Filter by module: Authentication, Users & invites, Settings, Chart of accounts, Fiscal periods, Invoices, Vendors, W-9, Payments, Journal entries, or Banking.
  2. Search by reason text to find a specific event.
  3. Click a row to expand it: you get the IP, user agent, request ID, and a before/after diff of exactly what changed.

Why it matters

When an auditor, an investor, or your own accountant asks who changed something and when, the answer is one filter away instead of an archaeology project. The same trail follows individual records too: every invoice carries its approval history on its Approvals tab, and every transaction opened from Internal Assessment shows its full activity log as part of the audit packet.
